Construction Networking Events

First Wednesday of Every Month in Colchester, Essex

Hi, I’m Vish an electrician by trade and the founder of Onward Shift. I host monthly walk and talk networking events for professionals in the construction industry and related trades. These free events are designed to help you build connections, support your mental health and grow your local business network all while enjoying the benefits of fresh air and movement.

Where & When

  • Location: Salary Brook entrance, Bromley Road, Colchester (by the entrance sign)
  • Time: 7:00 PM
  • When: First Wednesday of every month
  • Duration: Around 1 hour (varies based on the group’s pace and route)

In the winter months, we stick to well-lit public roads. In the lighter months, we explore more scenic countryside routes including Welsh Woods. Some routes may be more challenging but all walks begin and end at the same meeting point.

There’s no cost and no pressure whether you’re there to chat, listen or just take a breather from the day.
